Of course, it is easy to say that we want to transform the caricature of advisory and research and how strategic decision-makers define solutions. But, here's the issue: advisory and research have changed already. We know that our product is not a comprehensive analysis on how to capitalize upon the leading investment trends altering Asia or a strategic roadmap that enables the positioning of an alternative global real estate and infrastructure portfolio or unique data-points and insights that help identify "best of breed" managers for inclusion into a multi-asset class fund. Instead, it is creating a desired reaction in the heads of our clients that enables trust, engenders a deeper understanding of secular trends, shifts perception, facilitates action in decision-making and eventually, over time, alters the value outcome of their organizations.
We believe this approach is a far departure from the traditional shackles of short-term transactional advisory and research and serves our clients well in a time of accelerated disruption. Some have called it, a fresh ripple of change.
